Harrow Youth Football League Division 1
VENCEREMOS 1-3 AP STARS RED
Not a great day in the office, lost 3-1, poor first half performance conceding 3 soft goals meant it was an uphill struggle 2nd half. However, credit to the boys, with a much improved performance creating chance after chance, but only converting one of them with a great goal from Bradley. Tough loss to take as the game was there to be won. We go again, taking lessons from this game. PR: 6.0

HILLINGDON ABBOTTS WHITE 0-9 VENCEREMOS
Comfortable win for the boys, with a depleted squad through injury and isolation. First half was pretty much played in the Abbots half with the V's dominating play from the half way line moving the ball into the opposition box time after time. Shiraz and Kayhan put 2 away but I think one of the parents commented we had 15 chances that we missed in the first half! After half time the boys were threatened with press ups if they did not score at least a handful, they want to work. After a tactical swap of Ali for Shiraz (who did not have his shooting boots on today) Ali bagged himself a hat-trick in 7 minutes of the switch. Then it was wave after wave of V's pressure and the highlight of the game was Aiden smashing in a shot from about 25 yards out into the bottom corner after we let him come out on pitch to play right back. HILLINGDON YOUTH RED 4-4 VENCEREMOS
With Dhayan deputising for a missing Thomas in goal this week, we knew it was going to be anxiety provoking match. The game was fairly evenly poised but we were far from our best. Plenty of self inflicted mistakes and 3 very poor goals to concede. It seemed like we were determined to make things hard for ourselves. Going forward there could be no complaints with super goals from Owen continuing his fine form. Captain fantastic Harry made a super contribution as per usual and managed to get a deserved goal today. All things considered it was a good result. PR: 7.0
